My Story

At 23, I was diagnosed with stage four cancer, just as I felt I was in the prime of my physical life. The journey wasn’t easy—after my cancer relapsed within a year, I faced three years of surgeries, treatments, and a stem cell transplant. The process left me feeling weak, but I was determined to regain my strength. I began taking fitness classes at the YMCA, and within a year of finishing treatments, I was not only recovering but also teaching strength and mind/body formats.

However, my challenges didn’t stop there. Since my recovery, I’ve faced a series of injuries and health setbacks, including spine issues from a car accident, a torn meniscus, tendinitis in my wrist, and living with a connective tissue disorder and POTS, a condition that can affect my heart rate. Despite these obstacles, fitness has always been my anchor. It has pushed me beyond what I thought was possible, restoring not only my strength but also my vitality.

That’s why I’m so passionate about helping others on their fitness journey—because I’ve lived it myself. No matter what challenges or limitations you face, I believe in focusing on what you *can* do, and I’m here to guide you toward your own version of strength and well-being.
